The North Surrey Organic Community Garden is a non-profit society of gardening enthusiasts. The Garden started as one of the Partnership projects of the Surrey Parks and Recreation.
Volunteers have been managing this organization since its inception in 1999.
In 2001, the North Surrey Community Garden received the Citizen Group of the Year Award as recognition of exceptional contributions of the Garden group to the community.
The Garden is located at the northwest corner of Cedar Grove Park at 10222-141 Street in Surrey, BC.
Our mandate is to demonstrate, inform and share knowledge of organic practices to the residents of Surrey, BC and the general public.
Our goal is to enhance social and recreational growth of the local communities through the promotion of ecological awareness and environmentally friendly life styles.
